I am reaching out on behalf of my son, who does not know I am contacting you. I am collecting prelimary information. He is 18 years old.

My son is vaping TCH and CBD oil. He has been hanging out with some rebellious and and ungodly "friends." I don't know to what extent his girlfriend is involved in all this, but I have my suspicions. Like so many and a growing number of our young adults, my son struggles with depression and anxiety and is being treated with an antidepressent. The THC and CBD is on top of it. I don't know how long or deep his addiction is.

He was raised in a Christian home and in the church, even attending a Christian elementary and middle school. He finished high school with a pretty good GPA and was supposed to start attending a Christian college. Now he is getting into this stuff, listening to dark and depressing music (and turning off and away from the Christian music we used to listen to), skipping church and lying about it, and turning his back on his Bible study and Christian friends. He is somewhat rebellious against his parents at this point, although he seems to relate well and we are especially thankful for his relationship with my mom, his godly and loving grandmother.

I don't really know what to do or how to stop this, or stop if from turning into a train wreck. I'm pretty sure I can't stop it, only Jesus can make it stop. I'm not sure how I would even bring up your program to him, and I'm not clear if someone in his condition can sign up. He is not in legal trouble and works part time, so at least he functional as far as that goes. How far does someone need to go before they are eligible for your program? We are looking at other programs, but not all of them are faith-based like yours.
