PASTOR GEORGE WILKINSON | KEYNOTE SPEAKER

After years of evangelistic ministry, preaching and teaching the gospel, Pastor George Wilkinson was led by God to establish Word of Life Christian Church in April 2007 in his hometown of Flint, Michigan. Before founding WOLCC, he served as Assistant Pastor of Grace Emmanuel Baptist Church in Flint, as well as Interim Pastor of International Baptist Church of Buenos Aires Argentina. His dedication and love of Christ has been evident through his Christian teaching and leadership in evangelism, community outreach, youth ministry and Christian education. 

Pastor Wilkinson has led Fortune 500 companies and privately-owned enterprises as a Supply Chain Executive Director, Vice-President and President/COO; he is currently the Group Vice President for Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Southern University, and a MSA from Central Michigan University. He is the Board President of Claudy's House for Developmentally Challenged Adults and serves on the boards of the Flint Education Foundation, Department of Human Services, Habitat for Humanity and is the Vice Chair for the Community Foundation of Greater Flint.

Pastor Wilkinson has been happily married for 30 years to his "Sunshine" Sophia. They have two children, George II and Kristian.
 

REV. PHIL HALL | MASTER OF CEREMONIES

Phil Hall serves as Director of Flint Teen Challenge. Phil entered the Detroit Life Challenge program in 2009 after years of struggling with alcohol and drug use. Leaving the program in 2010, Phil remained close to the ministry as he began a new career. The Lord placed a calling on him to return to Life Challenge in 2014 to serve first as Detroit Men's Director, then as Director of Flint Teen Challenge, a one-year residential program bringing hope, healing and help through Jesus Christ for men struggling with addiction. Under Phil's leadership, Flint TC is actively engaged in the community with service and outreach. He recently earned his ministerial credentials through Michigan School of Ministry. Phil is married to Amy and has four beautiful daughters and a son.

Come and worship with us as we celebrate work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the men who have been transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There will be lots of music with the Flint TC Band and creative testimonies, such as spoken word, presentated by our residents.
