ABDU MURRAY | Keynote Speaker

Abdu Murray is the North American Director and Senior Itinerant Speaker with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries and is the author of two books, including his latest, Grand Central Question: Answering the Critical Concerns of the Major Worldviews. For most of his life, Abdu was a proud Muslim who studied the Qur’an and Islam. After a nine year investigation into the historical, philosophical, and scientific underpinnings of the major world religions and views, Abdu discovered that the historic Christian faith alone can answer the questions of the mind and the longings of the heart.

Abdu has spoken to diverse international audiences and has participated in debates and dialogues across the globe. He has appeared as a guest on numerous radio and televisions programs all over the world and hosts Embrace the Truth with Abdu Murray, a radio show heard on WLQV AM 1500 in Detroit and worldwide on the internet and podcast.

Abdu holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School. As an attorney, Abdu was named several times in Best Lawyers in America and Michigan Super Lawyer. Abdu is the Scholar in Residence of Christian Thought and Apologetics at the Josh McDowell Institute of Oklahoma Wesleyan University.

Abdu lives in the Detroit area with his wife and their three children.

​REV. JAMIE KJOS | Master of Ceremonies

Reverend Jamie Kjos is an anointed minister of the gospel, and Senior Pastor of Brightmoor Christian Church, a dynamic church in Novi (home church for our students). He is a great friend of Life Challenge and is on our Board of Directors. He also serves as Sectional Presbyter for the Assemblies of God, Michigan District. Pastor Jamie received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies at Central Bible College and a Master’s Degree from AG Theological Seminary. He is married to Kim and has two wonderful children.

​REV. JEFF BONZELAAR | Host

Jeff Bonzelaar serves as the Executive Director of Life Challenge Ministries and has been with the ministry for almost 28 years. He is an ordained minister and a Michigan District Sectional Presbyter with the Assemblies of God. He holds a Master's Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. A board member for Franklin Road Christian School, Jeff has been married to Lori for 26 years. Together they have four sons and a daughter-in-law.

Come and worship with us as we celebrate work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the men and women who have been transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There will be lots of music and special musical and spoken word presntations  by our residents along with special guests from our church family.​
